HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit) – Notes on Login and HBCI/FinTS Access (as of September 2025)
- Activate HBCI/FinTS access: HBCI/FinTS access must be activated in HypoVereinsbank online banking. This is done in the “Security” section > “Manage TAN procedures”.
- Bank code (BLZ): 70020270 (for HBCI/FinTS access point)
- User ID: Your 10-digit “Direct Banking Number”
- PIN: Your self-chosen Direct Banking PIN (6 to 10 digits)
- TAN procedure: For HBCI/FinTS, the photoTAN procedure (separate reader, one-time fee) is recommended. The appTAN procedure can only be used with the HVB Mobile Banking App. Activation of the photoTAN procedure is done in online banking under “Security” > “Manage TAN procedures”.
- Special note on transaction retrieval: HypoVereinsbank provides transactions via the HBCI/FinTS interface only from the first retrieval onward. Historical data prior to initial access cannot be retrieved.
- For different account types and corporate solutions (e.g., UC eBanking global, Corporate Portal), different access data and activation methods may apply. Please select the appropriate access for your account type in online banking or your banking software.
Recommendation: If your HBCI/FinTS access is not yet activated, activate it in online banking or contact the HVB Online Service at +49 89 378 48888.
Note in case of problems with bank login via fino services:
- Check your login credentials (Direct Banking Number and PIN) for HypoVereinsbank (BLZ 70020270).
- Ensure that your TAN procedure is active and functioning (e.g., photoTAN reader).
- Check whether third-party provider (TPP) access is enabled and valid at your bank.
- If the problem persists, have your login credentials, TAN procedure, and TPP access checked by your bank (e.g., your bank advisor).
