ApoBank – Notes on Account Integration and Login (as of September 2025)

Login information for apoBank online banking:
- Username: Your main VRKennung/apoKennung or your alias. New customers receive a 7-digit identifier as their username; alternatively, an alias can be assigned later.
- PIN: Your self-chosen PIN (8 to 20 characters).
- A TAN procedure (e.g., apoTAN+ app, photoTAN device) is required to authorize transactions and sensitive actions.
- After several failed attempts, access will be blocked for security reasons. Unblocking is possible via support.
- The login credentials are valid for both the online banking portal and the apoBank app.
TAN Procedures:
- apoTAN+ App: Authorize transactions via the app on your smartphone (push TAN, biometric authentication possible).
- photoTAN device: Generate TANs using a device, independent of your smartphone.
- The setup and management of TAN procedures are done in the apoBank online banking portal.
Security Features:
- Two-factor authentication is standard for all logins and transactions.
- apoBank will never ask you for passwords or codes.
Note in case of problems with bank login via fino services:
- Check your login credentials (username/apoKennung/alias and PIN) for apoBank.
- Ensure that your TAN procedure (e.g., apoTAN+ app) is active and functioning.
- Check whether third-party provider access is enabled and valid at your bank.
- If the problem persists, have your login credentials, TAN procedures, and third-party provider access checked by apoBank.
