Sparda-Bank – Notes on Account Integration and Login (as of September 2025)
The Sparda-Banks maintain their accounts at different data centers (Sopra Financial Technology or Atruvia/Fiducia). The supported TAN methods and login credentials may differ depending on the Sparda-Bank. If in doubt, please check your regional Sparda-Bank’s website to see which data center and procedures apply.
For Sparda-Banks with Sopra data center:
- Supported TAN methods: mobileTAN, chipTAN
- Not supported: SpardaSecureApp (this is not HBCI/FinTS-compatible and cannot be used for third-party providers or banking software)
- Customer and user number: Your 7-digit customer number (current account, without leading zeros)
- Online PIN: Your personal online PIN (not the starter PIN)
- Important: If you have only activated the SpardaSecureApp, login via HBCI/FinTS or third-party providers is not possible. Activate at least one of the supported TAN methods in online banking.
For Sparda-Banks with Atruvia/Fiducia data center:
- Supported TAN methods: mobileTAN, Sm@rt-TAN plus, VR-SecureGo, SecureGo+
- No special requirements – all common TAN methods are supported.
- At some branches, chipTAN must be activated as the only FinTS/HBCI-compatible method.
General notes:
- The SpardaSecureGo+ app can be used for e-commerce transactions (e.g., Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check), but is not suitable for HBCI/FinTS access.
- For setup in banking software or third-party apps, you need the correct user ID (usually Sparda-NetKey or 7-digit customer number) and a PIN of at least 8 digits.
- When changing data centers (e.g., switching to Atruvia), login credentials and supported TAN methods often change.
Note in case of problems with bank login via fino services:
- Check your login credentials (customer number/NetKey and PIN) for your Sparda-Bank.
- Ensure that your TAN method (mobileTAN, chipTAN, Sm@rt-TAN, SecureGo/VR-SecureGo) is active and functioning.
- Check whether third-party provider (TPP) access is enabled and valid at your bank.
- If the problem persists, have your login credentials, TAN method, and TPP access checked by your bank (e.g., your advisor or the hotline).
