You can cancel your account in your personal switch status after completing the account switch service.
After you have clicked on "Complete account switch" in the switch process, a pop-up opens on which you will be taken directly to the switch status by clicking on "Continue to switch status". Here you have, among other things, the option of canceling your current account with just a few clicks.
Step 1: To initiate the cancellation, please click on the tab "accounts" in your switch status. Here you can see the active accounts of your previous bank.
Step 2: In the next step, please click on "Terminate your account".
Step 3: Please enter the date on which the old account should be canceled. Please check the box next to "I hereby waive my 14-day right of withdrawal", otherwise the cancellation cannot be sent.
Step 4: Now all that's missing is your signature. There are various options to choose from for this.
Step 5: After you have checked all the entries again, you can send the cancellation directly by clicking on "Submit cancellation".
